Inquiry about RFID reader

Q1: How can I increase the reader's awareness?

A1: Currently, fixed-point readers such as IDRO900V and IDRO900F support a total of 4 antenna ports, so you can use multiple antennas to increase the recognition range.

Q2: Is there any way to solve the problem of recognizing other tags while using RFID?

A2: In order to prevent tag misreading, proper usage environment and reader setting are important.
To prevent radio waves from shielding, or to adjust the reader's power output is required to fine-tuning.
In addition to this, it is also possible to use the visible light RFID system which can select and read the desired tag by using the LED light developed by IDRO Co.,

Q3: Can I use it just by buying an RFID reader?

A3: Tags, antennas, and PCs that can connect to readers.
You can see that it works by using the demo program provided by PC and IDRO Co., Ltd. However, in order to use it in conjunction with the upper program, it is necessary to develop the program.
We provide API and protocol data for development.

Q4: How much is the recognition distance and multi-reading performance?

A4: It depends on product, environment, antenna and tag performance.
IDRO900V shows the 12m's recognition distance and the multi-reading performance of 800 tags per second in the optimal environment.
For more information, please refer to the product catalog.

Q5: What is the maximum recognition distance of UHF RFID?

A5: Normally the maximum recognition distance is 30m ~ 10m at 15dBm RF output.
However, the distance that can be stably recognized is about 3m ~ 5m.

Q5: How do I control RFID readers?

A5: IDRO provides APIs for easy control of commercial reader. The provided API supports C, C ++, C # .NET, Android, JAVA and so on.
When you purchase the product, we provide a simple sample code.
For more information, please refer to the development documentation provided by IDRO.

Q6: I want to connect with PLC and IDRO RFID reader. How can I connect?

A6: In order to control RFID reader in PLC, you have to program it directly. IDRO provides reader's protocol documentation.
However, it is very simple because it requires only the tag reading function. The communication connection supports serial port or Ethernet.

RFID Antenna Inquiries

Q1: For 4 port readers, is it possible to adjust the power output for each antenna?

A1: Yes. If you use multiple antennas, you can use different output power to suit your situation.

Q2: Is it possible to adjust the length of the antenna cable?

A2: Yes. By default, cables of length 6m are provided, and additional charges will be incurred if length extension is required.
However, the longer the length of the antenna cable is, the more loss is generated, which affects the recognition performance but is insignificant.

Q3: What is the antenna type?

A3: Currently, the patch antennas are 260 * 260mm, 100 * 100mm, 45 * 45mm, and the visible light antennas are a cylindrical antenna and a patch antenna.
Other antennas require customization.

Inquiry about RFID tag

Q1: Can I use generic tags in any environment?

A1: In general, RFID is vulnerable to moisture and metal materials. Because of human body (water) and when it is attached to metal, it is difficult to recognize smoothly.
To solve this problem, metal tags should be used. If you need to wear it in a person's body, put it in a special necklace or use other special tags.
In recent years, there are special tags made for various purposes, so we use them according to the situation.

Q2: Can I recognize tags even if they overlap?

A2: It is difficult to recognize all tags 100% when multiple tags overlap.
There is a certain amount of inter-tag spacing, and there are tags that are affected by directionality.

Q3: Can 100% of your tags be recognized as 100%?

A3: RFID has a lot of recognition rates depending on the surrounding environment. Therefore, the recognition rate varies greatly depending on the characteristics of the material and the surrounding environment.
Therefore, 100% recognition rate may appear in some environments, and 100% recognition rate may not be obtained in some environments.

Q4: Is there an area in the tag that has the only tag value in the world?

A4: Yes. In the ISO 18000-63 (or 18000-6C, Gen.2) specifications, there is a TID area in the tag memory.
The TID area usually comes out with a unique ID when it is produced at the factory.
In principle, this area does not change.

Wireless charger inquiry

Q1: What smartphone models does wireless charging by default?

A1: Apple Smartphones:
iPhone8, iPhone8 +, iPhoneX
Samsung Smartphone:
Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Note FE, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S7, S7 Edge, S8, S8 +, S9, S9 +
LG Smartphone:
